24 April 2020At CÉPROCQ, we have access to the pilot spray dryer unit : GEA Niro Spray Dryer™.
This is a pilot scale spray dryer with a maximum water evaporation rate of 6 kg / h. The system is equipped with a rotating atomizer at a speed of 20 000 – 50 000 RPM. Thanks to this atomizer, very small droplets are generated, which requires a short residence time in the drying chamber. Two cyclones at the outlet of the drying chamber allow the maximum recovery of the powders.
